as we celebrate our wedding at Lapland Lake.
October 2 - Welcome Party
Starting at 4:00pm, arrive at any time.
The night before the wedding we would like to invite you to a pre-party on the Lapland Lake campus. Food will be provided. This will be a child friendly event. Casual attire.
October 3 - Ceremony and Reception
Ceremony at 4:30PM. Reception at 5:30PM
For ages 12+. Semi-formal attire.
Karen’s Story
Growing up in the mean streets of New Jersey, Karen fostered a love for the arts early on. Her exceeding talent brought her to the prestigious Pratt institute in New York where she lived and worked for 8 years before retreating to the Adirondacks during COVID. Now she spends her time inspiring awe with her wonderful watercolor paintings and planning her next international trip.
Adam’s Story
Adam was born and raised in Albany, New York. He worked as a programmer for the New York Courts before jumping into the adventurous world of startups. His talent and passion for woodworking is only matched by his love of making wonderful pizza and raising the world’s two best dogs.
Our Relationship
We met in August of 2022 over board games and ice cream in the waning times of the pandemic. We bonded over our spirit of adventure and after a few international trips (and more selfies than we can count) got engaged in the early hours of the morning beside the Florence Duomo.
